Self-cleaning channel-mounted filter for removing particles of 1mm and larger from industrial and domestic wastewater.
The self-cleaning filterrake by VDZ Aqua is designed for use in industrial and domestic wastewater. The filter systems are placed in a wastewater channel to filter out particles of 1mm or larger. The filterrake is widely used across the meat industry, chemical industry, tanneries, breweries, potato processing, and gas station wastewater treatment.
The filterrake uses a moveable filter belt placed in an open channel, which filters large particles out of the wastewater. When installed, the system is fastened to the channel walls and sealed with waterproof flaps to ensure all wastewater passes through the filter surface.
Solid particles are separated due to the filter’s unique shape and the self-cleaning movement of the filter screens in the upper part of the installation. Standard filter openings are available in 1mm, 3mm, 6mm, 10mm, and 15mm. The filterrake is supplied in stainless steel as standard, with galvanised steel as an option.
