Gravity Table with Polymer Dosing

The gravity table operates on the principle of gravity drainage for sludge dewatering. After conditioning with polymer, sludge is evenly distributed onto a continuously moving polyester filter belt. Free water drains through the belt by gravity, while the dewatered sludge cake is transported and discharged.

The process involves mixing sludge with polymer for optimal flocculation, even distribution over the filter belt, gravity drainage of free water, continuous belt washing, and cake discharge. This makes it an energy-efficient solution for pre-dewatering prior to mechanical dewatering, achieving low to medium dry solids content.
