Manual Polyelectrolyte Make-up Station

The manual polyelectrolyte make-up station provides a simpler, cost-effective solution for polymer preparation. Like the automatic version, it addresses the challenge of properly mixing and dissolving polyelectrolytes in water while minimising operational problems.

The manual station consists of a single compartment that serves as mixing, ageing, and dosing area. Polymer is inserted through an opening on top, weighed to ensure the correct solution concentration. A flowmeter in the water supply adjusts the ratio of water and polyelectrolyte.

Water and polyelectrolyte are simultaneously dosed into a disperser for fine dispersion to avoid lump forming. When fully mixed, the solution is ready for use. The water tap must be opened manually, providing an additional check on the process. Level switches in the dosing compartment control the supply systems.
