Compact, low-investment drum thickener for pre-thickening sludge with polymer conditioning before further dewatering.
The rotary drum thickener increases sludge concentration using a rotating drum. Prior to entering the drum, polymer is dosed to ensure proper conditioning and floc formation. Water is separated while sludge concentration increases.
This compact design offers low investment costs and is suitable for both continuous and batch operation. It serves as an alternative to traditional sludge thickeners, particularly for pre-thickening before further dewatering of light to medium sludge loads.
